Nigerian born visual artist based in the united states. My passion for art started from when I was a toddler. As a little child I loved colors, drawing on anything, papers, cardboards the wall, anything. Growing up I didn’t really have an artist role model, it was more like I was searching for one but not really understanding what I was looking for until I got older. one thing I know I was good at , was stealing painting and craft techniques by just watching the masters once. My skill was self thought, and I believe I’m still learning. Furthermore, I have touched a few styles like impressionism, realism, spontaneous realism, and cubism. My paintings are done in acrylic, and oils, and consist of landscapes seascapes, portraits, still-life, folk art, animals and African art. I’ve been a visual artist for more than a decade, I love capturing special moments and freezing them in time like a special memory. The feeling of successfully connecting with the viewer on an emotional and abstract level is where my greatest satisfaction comes from, I think my art should speak for itself.
As I say so many times when I drop in to see someone’s blog, this new way of communicating produces such great links. All of which is my way of saying “thank you” for your recent decision to follow Learning from Dogs. If you would ever like to share what you are doing in the form of a guest post over on LfD that would be terrific.
